Saturday, February 23
Show | 6pm // Doors | 4:30pm

Music performed by David Stegall & Reid Brooks with the Famous Blue Raincoats!
David Stegall is a relative newcomer to the Birmingham music scene, in his short 12-year public playing history, he has played with and learned from some of the best musicians in Birmingham including Eric Essix, James (PJ) Spraggins, Roscoe Robinson, LeNard Brown, Matthew Taylor, Kelvin Benion and the late David Camon. He is a long-time member of the Birmingham Blues Society, an alumnus of John Gindick’s Mississippi Delta Blues Harmonica Camp and has played at Ground Zero in Clarksdale, MS (the crossroads of highways 61 and 49). Stegall has also played with Slim’s Pat-EO Band, the Beloved Community Orchestra, Frazier & Friends, Stegall Fields, Stegall & Company (with Carlos Pino), Brooks-Stegall and is looking forward to playing with the Famous Blue Raincoats at Workplay on February 23rd. Although primarily known as a harmonica player, it has been recently discovered Stegall can also sing – if he stays in the lower octaves!
